Arrived in Delhi 3 days before the marathon, landing in Delhi we'd heard so many stories press wise, and from people I had spoken to who had already gone to delhi, but I can honestly say I was amazed with the security, having armed guards and a designated lane for the Commonwealth Games traffic. Making all the normal traffic have to stop for us, meant no worries and no hanging about. |

Feeling really good Physically, had a few scares with a foot problem. Had an MRI scan and an injection to help deal with it, luckily it wasn't as serious as a stress fracture, purely some inflamation in the muscles. |

Just back from a good steady run at Bristol, ran a good marathon pace and helped to freshen the legs up after Barcelona. Not sure my legs agreed with that though. Managed to lose my timing chip due to the wet conditions ruining the paper fastner, got through the finish line and dragged straight off for drug testing by UKA Doping Officials, unfortunately my PH level wasn't right so had to warm down while being watched before I could redo the test an hour later. |
